Recorded marks.

Through an exploration of shape and a childhood nostalgic desire to be close to nature, I have documented patterns that organic forms have taken. Recording these marks through different mediums, first photography, then charcoal sketches, and finally, crochet or knitted pieces. Through this triadic practice the source of inspiration molds and adapts to each medium. No piece is a direct copy of the natural, it is merely a derived experimentation. Following almost a journalistic documentation of my interpretation of beauty, these pieces follow the flow of how and where I am struck by the force of nature in both urban and natural environments.
